The I Am Sayings
In Hebrew, “I am who I am” is the unutterable name of God. YHWH (pronounced Yahweh), the proper name for God in the Old Testament, appears at the base of the illumination. Out of respect, the name was traditionally not spoken or written out in full, hence the abstract lettering at the bottom which forms the base for the five, colorful “I am” columns.
